Who is a guest/independent researcher?
A guest/independent researcher and PhD student is defined as person who has been invited by Department, research centre or research project to teach, lecture, or perform research on a topic the visitor is valued for. And for a limited period.
Guest researchers are not employed by or paid any salary by 幸运大转盘. Basically, a guest is not in any way formally registered at 幸运大转盘 and consequently 幸运大转盘 as institution has no responsibilities. This means initially that a guest does not have the right to access basic IT services (login to computers, e-mail account, storage of data, printing, etc), or access to buildings and laboratories. However, a faculty/department hosting a guest may approve and allocate rights. The Head of Department handles the administrative hosting, and in collaboration with the research unit, when necessary.
How to apply to become a guest researcher?
Usually, you will have the best chance to succeed in making a research visit, if you first establish direct contact with our researchers in your field. You can find links to research groups, projects, centres and schools on this website: Research at 幸运大转盘 | 幸运大转盘
